Just a quick sketch before bedtime…

We shaded on this weekend the treature room of the mummy. Before shading I painted some pictures for seeing if the color combine with our style. Here one of the matte painting:

The deadline is near. The animations are almost ready and my team need vacations :o) Today we thought about the entry-sequence. My job was to draw some concepts for the treasure room walls. Here a hieroglyphe sketch for our 3d-short:

Yesterday I went with friends to the “Going Underground”- award ceremony in Berlin and it was very amusing and interesting. First we saw the 14 shorts who were nominated for the festival. Than they awarded the shorts and the subway-bystander chose me on the 5th place! I’m very content with this place because all movies …

Our team thought about the color for the mummy’s treasure. We decided to take a red/yellow because we want demonstrate that the stone is the core of the mummy.

Thanks to all people who voted for me last week!!! I saw some shorts in the subway and they were very funny. The award ceremony is on february 12. I will go there. Even if I did’t win I’m very happy that I was under the 14 best of 457 shorts from 39 countries. Next …
